Our Life On Purpose

We have 940 Saturdays until our kids graduate from high school and go on to college. That's 18 summers to make the most of our time with them.

Every year, we make resolutions to be intentional. Eat less, exercise more, get up earlier etc. We want to live our life on purpose, be intentional about parenting and being together and make family our favorite thing.

Our Life

We love family time, and though sometimes that means we have more mess than we'd like, we want to share our journey with you. Follow along as we share our favorite experiments and experiences as we try to make every moment count.

Though the days are long, the years are short.

This little fella turned 6 today and I don’t think we could have celebrated any harder. • He has literally been talking about the details of today non-stop for like a week…. well, maybe a month and I am happy to say that he felt so loved and totally celebrated by the end. • He is our caboose. The one that feels with all of his heart, loves for everyone to be together as much as possible, is so tender, yet is such a fighter for justice and what is right. We are so glad that he is ours. • Happy birthday, Liam! You bring so much joy and happiness into our lives! We love you! •

“No guilt competes with innocence crucified. No grave can hold what your grace has justified. With breath that brings the dead to life. With words that pierce the dark with light Only by the blood are we set free.” ~ Lauren Daigle • Back home our church has a tradition of flowering the cross on Easter Sunday as a way to celebrate Jesus overcoming death, pain, darkness and hopelessness and giving us new life. • We have been traveling the last 2 years on this holiday and have decided to bring this tradition with us. Grand Wash Trail, Capitol Reef National Park. • This park surprised us so much. We were only there for 5 days and most of that time we were doing school and work. But the hikes we took and the beautiful things we saw were pretty awesome. • Capitol Reef is definitely the underdog of the 5 National Parks in Utah. But we think it’s worth the stop! •
