* We made it to Mackinac (Mackinaw) Island before we left the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Such a cool and interesting place! * No cars allowed! So you either walk, ride your bike, or take a carriage to get around, even if you live there. And yes, people live there. So neat, right? * It just happened to be the second busiest day of the year, but the only day that would work for us. So at first I was totally overwhelmed by all the people. Can you see all the people on both of these pictures? * But after we got a little ways off the beaten path. We had an amazing time exploring the island on our bikes! The kids did amazing too. They are becoming quite the little bikers and hikers!
