View from the top of my mountain run this week! My super awesome FIL took me out on his mountain bike, on a new trail to get in a 13 mile run. The trail was extremely hard to mountain bike, many parts not bike-able at all. He pushed his mountain bike up 1300 feet of elevation on switch backs for 1.5 miles. Needless, to say I’m grateful for him and amazed at what the man can do at 62. But the run was awesome and the view from the top was gorgeous. This girl put it all out there tonight! I’m am so, so proud of her! She finished her Mile in 7:47 ( like 30’seconds faster than any mile she’s ever ran)! And more importantly she had fun doing it! My phone died before her finish but it was a strong one with a sweet kick at the end! Love watching her grow as an athlete! And love watching her have fun!
