This cutie is about to “go” to school (2days a week) for the first time ever in her life . She loves all things girlie…and really wanted bangs before school. So last night we cut her hair. Guys, I ran 15 miles today! Super stoked that it didn’t feel terrible either. I feel so grateful to have good friends to spend hours running and talking and training. I love this girl so much. She’s strong and brave; nurturing and kind, incredibly smart, and sometimes a little sassy. She’s so independent that sometimes I forget that she still needs me. But I’m so grateful for the privilege to be her mom; to help shape and mold her and guide her through this life. Being a mom is hard stuff and most days you have no clue if you are doing it right. But man, its seriously one of the best things in life! I pray that in this next year I can be more present in each moment and season, no matter how hard or easy, and pay attention to what really matters, because these days are flying by pretty fast!
